Re-Mind's Founder: David Van Diest, MA, LCPC, ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), EMDR

David started Re-Mind Counseling with the hope of bringing people back in alignment with their true self. When someone is out of sync with who they are, there's a disconnect or an inner conflict which causes a number of mental health challenges.
David's clients include both men and women between the ages of 18 and 70. He works with those struggling with addictions, unwanted sexual behavior, anger, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral or emotional challenges. The strategies created to navigate life when we were young often do not work as well in adulthood. David works with his clients to identify those parts of one's personality that struggle in an effort to repurpose them. He is trained in ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), CMI (Critical Memory Integration), EMDR (the S.A.F.E. Approach) and utilizes IFS principles in his practice. David builds on his clients’ passions, discovering their skills and strengths, and using those assets to help them overcome obstacles in their lives. He finds intense joy in seeing people engage passionately in their daily routine and begin to realize their true value.
